NPBid has finally got our auction up and running! This has taken a lot of time, hard work, and dedication. We completed taking pictures of all of the items, created flyers for Twitter, and now have a timeline for the auction. We have already begun the auction on Wednesday, May 8th, and the auction will be completed by Friday, May 17th! We have had around 45 bids overall, and plan on getting a lot more! So far, we have raised almost $200 for Riley in just the first two days of the auction! This auction exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be any happier! We don't have an exact goal for the amount of money we intend to raise, but we are very content with what we are sitting at currently. Pictured below is one of the flyers that we created. The google sheet and google form method that we have been using has worked out tremendously. At first, we were very curious as to if it would work or not, but it has been going great so far! As of now, we are content with the amount of items we have in the auction. Later on through the week, just to keep the auction alive, we may add other items that our targeted audience may be interested in. We are not sure if we will add these items yet, but this is our next plan of action. We decided to not tweet everyday so that we are not forcing NPBid content into everyone's Twitter timeline everyday. However, we are planning on tweeting something out today, letting everyone know that there is only a week left to get this awesome gear! As long as the excel sheet and google form method continue to work, NPBid is in great shape to finish off this year's auction strong! Below is a picture of the google sheet with the current leading bidders of each item. The part of the column that is blank under "current bid" means that the item has not yet been bid on. Currently, the New Palestine gear has been the most popular, which was expected.
