NPBid has been very busy recently. We've been taking a lot of pictures of the items that we plan to resell. We have finally set up our website. Our website consists of a google sheet with the item, the starting bid, the current bid, and the link to the item. We have been setting up each individual google form (example) for each of the items. This is where the person will place their name, phone number, email address, and their bid. NPBid will then update each item's price twice a day. We have still not figured out what times we will be updating the prices. NPBid has not yet finished all of the google forms, but we will most likely finish them by next week. NPBid's next plan of action is to finish setting up the online website by putting in the links to the google forms of each item. Once we finish setting up the google sheet and google forms, we plan on announcing the launch of the NPBid auction! We plan on doing this by posting an announcement on Twitter, as well as possibly making an announcement on NP120, NPHS's weekly news, and possibly making flyers to get people to buy our items. Everyday in class, we will be updating the prices of our items. We are not for sure on how long the online auction will last. We have predicted that it will go for at least a week. This is our plan right now, and we are not for sure if it will change.

We have taken a long break from NPBid and have been working on Breakout EDU. Finally, NPBid has found a solution to posting our donated items onto a website. We are also able to now keep 100% of the money we receive from people who buy our clothes. Then, we can donate all of the money to Riley Children's Hospital. We have decided as a group to create a google sheet that everyone can view. They will use this sheet to look at the various items we have as well as the prices of them. They will then click the link of the item they want to purchase, and a google form will open in a new window that has the picture of the item and a place for them to fill out their information. NPBid has been working on this for a couple of days now, and will continue to work on the website. We will be posting more clothes on the website as we continue to develop the project. NPBid has made an agreement to update the highest bids at 8am and 12pm everyday. We are not 100% sure if these are the exact times we are going to update the bids at, but we plan on updating the prices of the highest bidder at least 2 times per day. Our next idea is to continue taking pictures of the donated items and update the google forms with actual pictures of the clothing items. Right now, we only have pictures of a few shirts, and we have put random pictures in the google form where the picture of the clothing item will go. After we set up the rest of the google form, we will post the huge news on our Twitter account that we are now selling items. All we have to do is set up the rest of the website and take pictures of the remaining clothing items. |
